PC-B02 Discovery Educator Network - Limited space available - Cost: $135
Discovery Educator Network
The Discovery Educator Network (DEN) is pleased to
present a special full-day preconference event – Digital
Storytelling with the DEN. The day will provide STAR
Discovery Educators and welcomed guests an exciting and
enriching day of professional development focused on
creative ways to use digital media in the classroom.
The day will begin with a keynote presentation from Dr.
Jason Ohler, author of Digital Storytelling in the
Classroom. After the opening session, participants will
have the opportunity to customize their schedules by
selecting one of the following hands-on, three-hour
workshops:
• Spinning a Digital Story with Web 2.0
• Director’s Cut: Making Movies with a Green Screen
• Lights, Camera, Education! The AFI Curriculum
• Tying it All Together: Moviemaker, Audacity and DE
streaming
Lunch will be provided and the day’s festivities will
come to a close with fun, prizes and special
announcements from the Discovery Educator Network.
