Preconference Workshops and Seminars

Preconference workshops and seminars will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012, and are available in half-day and full-day sessions. These workshops and seminars are offered at a separate fee from the PETE&C general conference. Most of these workshops will be held off-site at local school districts.

NOTE: Many hands-on workshops will be held in computer labs located offsite in local school districts and/or Universities. Bus transportation will be provided from the Hershey Conference Center to the offsite locations and back. Included this year are sessions that require you to bring your own laptop, iPad, or other device. Seminars are not hands-on will be held at the Hershey Conference Center. Please make note as to what equipment you should bring. Lunch will be provided for any participant who attends a full day session.

Bus transportation will be provided from the Conference Center to each offsite location and back to the Conference Center at the end of the workshop. Busses will leave the Conference Center at 8:15 AM for full-day sessions and 12:15 PM for afternoon sessions. At the end of they day, you will be picked up at your location at or close to 4:00 PM and taken back to the Conference Center. Should you prefer to drive yourself, a copy of driving directions to all offsite locations can be picked up at the registration desk.

A continental breakfast will be provided in the morning in the lobby near the registration desk at the Conference Center for all participants in preconference activities.

Although the workshops are held in either Macintosh or Windows labs, only those sessions marked with an asterisk (*) are platform specific.
